I wanted to order
this dress from Boden this year for Easter, but it was $95 and back ordered for 15 weeks. As luck would have it, my friend
Laura gave me Simplicity pattern 2443 which I figured I could alter and copy the Boden dress.

I did have some trouble adding the detail on the bodice, but overall, I'm pleased with the dress. I am also happy that it ended up costing me $35 instead of the $95. I also think the back came out nicely.

Now back to my stack of other unfinished projects.
So cue! So trendy!

ReplyDeleteLooks great, Jenny! I was going to brave the knit top and then decided to "repurpose" an old dress for the top. Can't wait to see it in person on Sunday!
